A storm caused problems late Sunday night in Lincoln County, though not as severe as some surrounding counties received.

Just before 8 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lincoln County and minutes later callers in the Town of Bradley reported trees down blocking roadways and power outages. The Lincoln County Highway Department was called out after trees fell and blocked roads including County Road B, County Road H near County Road V and US Highway 8 near County Road CC.

Tomahawk Firefighters responded to call in the city of Tomahawk followed by a report of a tree on fire on County Road CC near Bay Mill Rd. The Merrill Fire Department was also paged out for a similar problem. Deputies also closed State Road 86 near the Price County line after a power line fell onto the roadway.

In all, the 911 Dispatch Center took about 20 storm related reports during the event.
