St. Paul’s Church, W2604 Cty. Hwy. P, located southeast of Merrill, will hold its annual family-friendly Party on P this weekend. Unlike previous years, this year the celebration will be a two-day event held on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 2026, with food, music, dancing, concessions, games, and family fun. Organizers say their annual Party on P is designed to be exactly that — a huge party where the entire family can gather to celebrate and have some summer fun.
This year’s event will kick off on Saturday at 3 p.m. and will feature a prime rib sandwich special beginning at 4 p.m. Then Carl Jackson & The Wild Spirits will provide live music and there will be dancing under the big tent from 5 to 9 p.m. Meanwhile, raffles and silent auctions, concessions and refreshments, and bouncy house entertainment for the kids will be ongoing.
On Sunday, a polka church service will begin at 10 a.m. and then it’s time for a BBQ chicken dinner that will start at 11 a.m. and continue until it sells out. There will be more music and dancing with Jim Pekol and GB Band from 1 to 4 p.m.
Raffles will close at 3:30 p.m. and drawings will take place at 4 p.m.
Whether you come for the food or the music, the polka worship service or the chance to win prizes in the raffles, or for something to keep the kids occupied and let them play with other kids in the community, it’s a great opportunity to get out and about and enjoy a summer weekend.
Free parking and a shuttle service will be available.
