What better way to celebrate the long-awaited winter snow than by getting out there and having fun with it? That's exactly what Merrill kids (and grownups, too) did when the area finally got a good dumping of snow in late March. Look at all the creativity and smiles! You can almost hear the laughter just from looking at the photos. Celebrate winter while it lasts!
"My son Holden (5) is so excited for the snow. He and dad worked on his fort Friday (they shoveled most of the front yard to make it) and mom helped with the decorating??. With the weight of the additional snow Sunday night, the fort started to collapse, so Monday he and mom made a new castle fort. He didnt get time to color it though before the rain started." "This is Landon (15) and his pup Prim (9ish)! He did this in a light rain! ????? He used his brother's hat and gloves (that didn't go over well??), rocks as eyes (we hope they don't get run over by the lawn mower this summer), and a half of a carrot for the nose!
