The snow is melting, robins and other summer birds are returning, geese are flying north again. Pussy willows are popping up in ditches, the sap is running, and syrup makers are cooking that sap into rich maple syrup. The purple crocus flowers are blooming and tulip leaves have emerged from the frozen earth. Spring is here to stay.
