Sharon was born on January 7, 1952, to the late George and Norma (Rusch) Strasser in Merrill. She graduated from Merrill High School in 1970. Sharon met the love of her life, Clint Kasper, and the two exchanged marriage vows on November 11, 1972, in Merrill. Their union lasted 51 years and he survives.

Sharon had a heart of gold and worked hard for 40 years as a certified nursing assistant, with many of those years at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. She loved her job and the residents loved her, often requesting her. Her heart was truly in her work and it showed.

Sharon’s family was first and foremost in her life, especially her beloved grandchildren. She looked forward to spending time with her son and his family, especially around the holidays and would always make her famous chocolate chip cookies.

Sharon was a Brewers fan and would watch the games every chance she had. She loved her dogs, especially Maggie the beagle. Sharon is remembered as a friendly and outgoing person, who could visit with just about anyone. She was always happy and very caring and generous. Sharon will be missed dearly, and never forgotten.
