Sczygelski Farm Products: Farm fresh eggs and home-baked goods

Just southwest of Merrill at N995 Fairview Rd., Katie Sczygelski operates a small market stand on their farm, offering home-baked goods, farm fresh eggs, maple syrup, tallow cream, and wax melts for sale.
The Sczygelski Farm Products stand, which Katie started last August, is set up to be self-serve and is typically stocked with products on Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. Katie said she has a Facebook page for the business, listed as Sczygelski Farm Products, and she posts whenever she is open. “Saturdays for sure. Sometimes Fridays,” she said. “Sundays also just depending on sales, how busy it is for me, and what we are doing that weekend.”
Katie’s home-baked specialties include her frosted sourdough cinnamon rolls, sourdough apple cinnamon sugar focaccia bread, sourdough Italian herb and cheese focaccia bread, Italian herb and cheese sourdough loaves, jalapeno cheddar sourdough loaves, classic sourdough loaves, and sourdough rhubarb scones. Katie said she sometimes bakes mini breads, and occasionally she has other treats, like her sourdough peanut butter chocolate chip granola, cookie butter sourdough granola, sourdough lemon blueberry scones, sourdough chocolate chip peanut butter scones, sourdough Cadbury egg brownies, maple sourdough sandwich bread, carrot cake bread, sourdough pumpkin chocolate chip loaves, sourdough cranberry crumble bread, sourdough apple crumble bread, or dehydrated sourdough starter, as well. Additional treats may also be offered from time to time, as Katie tries new and seasonal recipes.
Seasonings for dipping oil, frankincense tallow cream, vanilla bean tallow cream, and wax melts in various scents round out the typical weekly selections.
Katie’s husband, Cole, farms the property, with cows on the property during the summer months. During the fall months, he also offers deer corn for sale.
A drop box is available for cash and check payments, and Venmo is also accepted.
