Schotz recognized for service to veterans

Pam Mittelstaedt Schotz, former Deputy Lincoln County Veteran Service Officer, was recently recognized for her 15 years of support to veterans. In separate ceremonies, she was presented with an honorary life membership card with the Merrill Area Veterans Coffee and Conversation Group. This was presented by co-founder Steve Sabotke at the Eagles Club in Merrill. A week later, at an American Legion-sponsored coffee-and-conversation event at the Northwoods Veterans Post, VFW Commander Corey Dornbrack presented a veterans affairs challenge coin. It is estimated that Pam helped hundreds of Lincoln County veterans during her time with the County. L to R: Steve Sabotke, Pam Mittelstaedt Schotz, and Corey Dornbrock.
