Roundabout opens

The new roundabout at the intersection of Hwy. 64 and Center Ave. in Merrill opened to traffic Wednesday morning. The section of Hwy. 64 between Park and Mill streets has been closed for construction of the roundabout, which replaces the traffic signals at the intersection. Now that the intersection is open, motorists can expect to encounter lane closures for crews to complete finishing work.
