Ronald W. Duranceau of Merrill passed away Friday April 25, 2025 at his home after a long illness. Ron was born Aug. 16, 1962 in Wausau to Roger and Judy (Schultz) Duranceau. He graduated from Merrill High School in 1980 then proudly joined the Army.
He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always available for kind words of advice. His interests included hunting, fishing, being outdoors, working on cars, and the farm. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers.
Ronald is survived by his daughters Kali Wolf for Milwaukee, Danielle Duranceau of Wausau. Step sons Charles Berghahn and Richardson Berghahn of Wausau, siblings; Debra Wickersham of Washington, Robert (Michele) Duranceau of Merrill, Randy (Becky) Duranceau of Baraboo, Rick Duranceau of Washington and seven grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life/Luncheon will be held May 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at his brother’s home 1407 E. 7th St. in Merrill.
