People for Pine Crest to hold open meeting in Tomahawk

People for Pine Crest will hold an open meeting in Tomahawk on March 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Tomahawk Public Library, 300 W. Lincoln Ave. in Tomahawk. The meeting is open to the public and all concerned Citizens of Lincoln County, the group said in a press release.
“People For Pine Crest has been reaching out to many resources to find solutions for keeping Pine Crest owned by Lincoln County and securing a 5-star rated facility to remain for our aging population,” the release said. “We continue to hear that there is no benefit in keeping Pine Crest County owned, citing affordability. The People for Pine Crest beg to differ.”
“The meeting will have information concerning operations, county financing options, questions about where and how some of recent County dollars have been spent, and considerations to keep and maintain Pine Crest as a [Lincoln] County-owned facility,” the release said.
