Paid Letters to the Editor

Posted

We welcome letters to the Editor, a chance for members of the community to comment on issues of concern to them. All letters must be original, not duplications of letters addressed to public officials or written by others. The views and opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of this publication, its publishers, Editor, or staff.

To the Editor:

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCE
Lie. Deny. Deflect. Delay. Accuse. Insult. Lie more. Repeat.
It’s shocking that nearly half of Americans prefer an infamous self-glorifying leader who habitually and knowingly lies for his own gains.
Every American of voting age needs to realize the serious dangers that are present with a delusional and arrogant president who highly admires dictators, specifically our nemeses Putin and Xi Jinping.
It has been a common practice for each presidential candidate to have an interview with a news commentator of CBS 60 Minutes. One candidate backed out when discovering that there would be live fact checking. Does that not scream “I am Guilty”?
Don’t fall victim to the sham “If you keep telling them a lie, they will soon believe it.” Ask for the evidence. Insist on the proven truth and not the disturbing and misinforming nonsensical claims.
Before you exercise the most critical act of democracy by voting, remember the horrific, riotous, and overall highly unpresidential rhetoric of the candidate with 32 convictions, as well as the insurrection on our Capital on Jan. 6th.
Please vote with your head and your heart.

Respectfully,
– Dian Ritter
Merrill, Wis.

The cost for Paid Letters to the Editor is $40.00 per letter of up to 250 words, plus $10.00 per additional 50 words, and must be prepaid prior to printing.
