Moon Lamps and More exhibit coming in April

During the month of April, the T. B. Scott Free Library will feature Moon Lamps and More for their Beyond Books: Community ArtShare Exhibition.
Youth Services Outreach collaborated with St. John Lutheran School’s art teacher, Rachael Waldburger, to create the pieces on display. The library provided the moon lamps, and Mrs. Walburger provided her eighth grade art students with the prompt to paint a moon lamp to represent their favorite books. Students chose scenes and book covers to paint in order to portray those books and also created self-portraits to represent what they might look like if they were characters in those books.
