At 9:47 p.m., officers responded to a driving complaint involving a vehicle traveling into town on Grand Ave. Officers located the vehicle, and the driver displayed signs of intoxication. The driver was placed through field sobriety tests and ultimately arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), first offense.

At 1:11 p.m., an officer took a report of a theft of an item from the T.B. Scott Library. The suspect has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

At 7:07 a.m., an officer took a report of a theft of money from a business. Contact was made with the suspect, who admitted to taking money from the cash register. The suspect will be cited for theft.
At 10:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. It was found that a male subject had struck a female subject in the face. The male was arrested for domestic battery.

At 1:01 a.m., officers responded to a residence for a report of a female subject acting erratically. Upon arrival, officers found the female scraping methamphetamine off a nightstand. She was taken into custody on charges of possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping and a probation hold.
At 6:50 a.m., officers responded to what was initially reported as a vehicle with a broken window. It was later found to be a domestic incident. The suspect could not be located over the weekend. The female suspect will be referred for multiple charges, including battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, strangulation and suffocation, and bail jumping.
At 7:47 p.m., officers responded to a business for a report of a male subject yelling at customers. Officers found the male to be highly intoxicated. He is on probation with a rule of absolute sobriety and was arrested for a probation hold.

At 6:24 p.m., a caller reported two teenage males fighting at a park. It was found the two were roughhousing with one another.

At 9:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to probation and parole for a person who needed to be taken into custody. The subject was located and transported to jail.

At 8:16 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence for an overdose. Officers and EMS staff were able to revive the person who was overdosing. An investigation is ongoing.

At 3:31 a.m., officers responded to a local residence for a report of a battery. When officers attempted to take a male into custody for hitting his girlfriend, he became physically resistive and injured an officer. The man continued to threaten officers while he was medically cleared. He was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on multiple felony charges.
At 6:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unoccupied vehicle on fire. Officers and the Merrill Fire Department extinguished the fire, which was determined not to be suspicious. No one was injured.
