At 5:24 a.m. a female was cited for disorderly conduct after she began yelling, swearing, and punching walls in the emergency room.
At 11:55 a.m. a caller reported being the victim of fraud. She believed she was making payments on a loan, but the money had actually been sent to a scammer. The investigation is ongoing.
At 12:34 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

At 1:55 a.m. a convenience store reported a male had shoplifted candy but returned it after attempting to leave and being confronted. The investigation is ongoing.
At 1:03 p.m. the Wausau Police Department requested officers to check a residence for a juvenile female runaway. Officers located her at the residence and turned her over to a family member.
At 3:16 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 6:53 p.m. a caller reported a domestic disturbance at an apartment. Officers found the involved male in a neighbor’s residence. It was reported that the involved female had kicked open the neighbor’s door and entered without consent. She was later found in the male’s apartment attempting to barricade the door. She was arrested for criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to dwelling, and felony bail jumping. Further investigation revealed ongoing domestic disturbances between the two, leading to both being arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct. The male was also charged with misdemeanor bail jumping.

At 4:19 p.m. an officer took a report of a fraudulent transaction involving a Facebook ad for a puppy. The suspect took a deposit, did not provide the puppy, and then demanded more money before offering a refund. The investigation is ongoing.

At 7:36 a.m. officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a residence. They located two individuals with outstanding warrants, both of whom were arrested. One male was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was charged accordingly.
At 4:17 p.m. an officer responded to a disturbance in the City Hall parking lot. It was found that a male had confronted another over a driving incident. The male was cited for disorderly conduct.

At 8:17 a.m. a parent reported finding a vape device in her juvenile son’s possession. The boy was cited for a juvenile tobacco violation.

At 8:30 a.m. a caller reported damage to her vehicle while parked in a lot. The damage was consistent with a hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.
At 2:06 p.m. a vehicle struck a light pole. The driver displayed signs of drug use and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. A crash report was completed, and the driver was also cited for operating after revocation (4th+ offense).

At 4:06 a.m. a caller reported that a male arrived at a residence to pick up a juvenile female and displayed a firearm. The juvenile had messaged a 19-year-old male to pick her up but told her aunt that her stepmother was coming due to a medical emergency. When the vehicle arrived, the aunt discovered the male and attempted to get the juvenile back inside. The male then armed himself with a rifle before putting it away. He was arrested a short distance away for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct while armed, and two counts of intentionally pointing a firearm at a person. The firearm was found to be unloaded during the incident.
At 7:10 p.m. a caller reported leaving money at an ATM and returning to find it gone. Store staff determined that another male had taken the money. An officer has an image of the suspect and will attempt to contact him.
