At 11:59 p.m. officers responded to a local business for a report of multiple juveniles shoplifting alcohol. An investigation is ongoing.
05-28-24
At 11:49 a.m. officers were dispatched to a crash involving a vehicle and a local residence. A crash report was completed.
At 7:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to an overdose at a local residence. The involved party was transported to a local hospital.
At 9:22 p.m. officers were dispatched for a report of a juvenile runaway. Officers later located the juvenile and brought the juvenile home.

At 12:06 p.m. a caller reported someone loosened the lug nuts on the wheels of his wife’s vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.
At 1:55 p.m. a female was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 9:15 p.m. a caller reported her granddaughter had run away from home. The granddaughter was located at another residence and returned home.

At 3:52 p.m. a caller reported damage to a sign advertising his business. Investigation is ongoing.
05-31-24
At 2:05 a.m. officers responded to a local business for a report of juveniles shoplifting. An investigation is ongoing.
06-01-24
At 1:21 a.m. officers responded to a local business for a report of a group of juveniles that were actively shoplifting. When officers arrived, the juveniles fled on foot. Video surveillance was obtained and suspects identified. The investigation is ongoing.
At 11:55 a.m. a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that officers had earlier told the operator not to drive, as he was believed to be too intoxicated to drive. The male had assured officers that he would either walk or wait for a ride. The male subject refused field sobriety tests and was arrested for first offense OWI. Officers located a loaded firearm within the vehicle. The male subject was booked into the jail on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and threats to law enforcement.
At 10:18 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft of money from a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
At 10:22 p.m. officers responded to a report of a group of juveniles creating a disturbance. The youths were located and most of them were found to have been consuming alcohol. The youths were cited for underage drinking and released to parents.
06-02-24
At 2:47 p.m. an officer took a report of a domestic disturbance that had occurred at a residence. Prior to officers arriving, the male subject involved had left the residence. Based off of the investigation, the male subject was to be charged with multiple charges as it pertained to the incident. The male subject was later taken into custody by Shawano County and transported back to the Lincoln County Jail for the numerous charges from the domestic incident.
06-03-24
At 8:56 a.m. a caller reported someone had struck his vehicle while he was running errands at local businesses and that party did not report the crash. Investigation is ongoing.
At 9:36 a.m. a store reported two different shoplifting incidents from late May. One male was identified and was arrested for retail theft, bail jumping, and probation violation. The other incident remains under investigation.
At 5:04 p.m. a crash was reported on E. Main St. at Pine Ridge Ave., with four people reporting injuries. A crash report was completed and investigation continues.
At 8:12 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation. The driver was found to have a warrant for her arrest through Oneida County. She was arrested for that warrant.
At 9:07 p.m. a caller reported hearing someone yelling, “Stop,” “No,” and “Get out of here” in a residential neighborhood. An officer was able to locate the man yelling, and it was found a deer was harassing his dog and the man was yelling to get the deer to leave his property.
06-04-24
At 8:12 a.m. a convenience store reported a man had stolen a chicken sandwich from their business the week prior. The officer recognized the male on surveillance footage. The man was later located and cited for retail theft.
At 9:34 a.m. a caller reported a male had driven to a wooded area and dumped something out of a bin before leaving the area. The male was located and it was found he had removed a turtle from the roadway and released it at this location.
At 10:17 a.m. a caller reported finding damage to his wife’s vehicle that had occurred the previous day.
06-05-24
At 7:10 a.m. officers responded to a local park for a disorderly male party. The male party was taken into custody for an active probation warrant.
06-07-24
At 4:05 p.m. a store reported a male had stolen a cart full of merchandise from the store. A Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy located the man unloading the stolen merchandise at his residence. The man was also found to have stolen from the store four days prior. The man was arrested for retail theft. A female may be charged as well, pending further investigation.
At 5:03 p.m. a citizen turned in a wallet she found at a store. The owner was determined through cards inside the wallet and contact was attempted.
06-08-24
At 1:15 a.m. an officer was notified of two intoxicated individuals who had damaged a barricade at the Festival Grounds. One was found to be 20 years of age and was cited for underage drinking and destruction of property. The other male was cited for destruction of property.
At 12:39 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle struck his, causing damage, while he was parked at a store parking lot. The striking driver fled the scene without reporting the crash. The officer will be reviewing surveillance video to attempt to identify the driver and/or vehicle.
At 6:54 p.m. a vendor who was at the rodeo reported a male had been glaring at him and then removed a knife from his pocket, making the vendor feel the action was a threat directed at him. Investigation is ongoing.
06-09-24
At 12:56 a.m. an officer located a male passed out on a sidewalk. It was found the man had an open felony bond prohibiting him from consuming intoxicants. The man was arrested for felony bail jumping.
At 11:35 a.m. a caller reported he was traveling on the roadway when his back window suddenly shattered. The man reported he was now home in Marathon County and would contact the officer back to investigate the matter further.
At 10:02 p.m. a caller reported someone was walking around the exterior of his residence and peering in windows.
