At 8:33 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a business for a historical shoplifting complaint. The suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

05-01-24
At 7:14 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. The driver displayed characteristics indicative of intoxication and agreed to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of the officer’s observations and field sobriety test results, the driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated (2nd offense).
At 3:55 p.m. a convenience store turned over a counterfeit $100 bill a female had attempted to use for payment. Investigation is ongoing.

05-02-24
At 11:36 a.m. a crash was reported on E. Main St. at Pine Ridge Ave. A driver failed to stop at a red light and, upon entering the intersection, collided with another vehicle. A crash report will be completed and the offending driver was cited for failure to stop at red light.
At 1:15 p.m. a business reported receiving a counterfeit $50 bill from a customer. A description of the customer was obtained and investigation is ongoing.
At 3:45 p.m. a store reported a female had shoplifted merchandise. It was found the female had attempted to steal earrings. She was cited for retail theft.
