The Merrill Adult Diploma Academy (MADA) marked another graduating class in January 2026, with 15 students — 12 high school students and three adult learners — earning diplomas or GEDs.
The academy, a charter school partnership between Merrill Area Public Schools and Northcentral Technical College, has operated since 2007 as an alternative pathway for nontraditional students in Lincoln County. It serves high school Juniors and Seniors as well as adult learners, offering a flexible and individualized environment for those working toward a high school diploma or GED.
Graduates were supported by teacher Erin Bailey and secretary Vicki Timm throughout the program.
MADA accepts new students on an ongoing basis. Those interested in enrolling or learning more can call 715.536.1431.
