Lincoln County’s new Veterans Service Officer began in his role on June 17, 2024.
Matthew Pultz was appointed as the new Lincoln County Veterans Service Officer by the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors and began serving on Monday, June 17.
Pultz replaces previous Veterans Service Officer John Olson, who recently accepted the same position in Portage County.
A release from the Lincoln County Administration Department said that in the United States Marine Corps, Pultz was stationed in Camp Fallujah, Iraq, and is a combat veteran. Pultz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technologies with Cum Laude honors and served the Eau Claire Veterans Service Office as a Student Assistant.
Most recently, Pultz was employed with Lincoln County Information Technology (IT) Department as a System Administrator.
“Mr. Pultz has demonstrated many exceptional qualities that make him an ideal candidate for this role,” the release said. “He has a passion and desire to continue his service with Lincoln County, supporting his fellow veterans.”
