Marjorie E. Hinz

Marjorie E. Hinz, age 84, of Merrill, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at

Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Marjorie was born April 22, 1927, in Birnamwood, daughter of the late

Paul and Elizabeth (Martell) Reissman. She married Lloyd F. Hinz on May

9, 1953, in Merrill. He survives. Marjorie was retired from Wire Products

Manufacturing, Merrill. Previously she had worked at Weinbrenner Shoe

Company, and the former A&W Root Beer Stand, both in Merrill. She

enjoyed baking and canning; jigsaw puzzles; ice fishing; berry picking;

reading; sewing; and walking her dog "Lucky".

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd F. Hinz, Merrill; two daughters, Diane

(William) Gitzlaff, Minocqua, and Laura (Ronald) Dietel, Mosinee; two sons,

Gerald (Paula) Hinz, Rib Lake, and Dale Hinz, Merrill; five grandchildren,

Heather (Bruce, Jr.) Broeking, Karie Jo (Ben) DeBroux, both of Merrill,

Jennifer Gitzlaff, Minocqua, and Ben and Brendan Dietel, both of Mosinee;

four great grandchildren, McKenzie and Bryce Broeking, and Ivan and

Mason DeBroux; two sisters, Dorothy Hogg, Madison, and Bernice Lang,

Milwaukee; and three brothers, Ervin Reissman, Birnamwood, Louis

(Kathie) Reissman, Merrill, and Elmer Reissman, Menasha. Marjorie is

preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Reissman.

The funeral will be at 11:30 A.M. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Trinity

Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate.

Entombment will be in Merrill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be

from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home,

Merrill, and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church.

The Hinz Family has suggested memorials be directed to the Trinity

Lutheran Church Debt Fund.
