Male arrested after gun report

Friday afternoon Merrill police received a report of a male firing a gun at his television in his E. Second St. apartment. Officers from the Merrill Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff's Department surrounded the building. The suspect came outside and was taken into custody without incident. The weapon turned out to be a BB gun, according to Merrill police chief Ken Neff.
