Lincoln County snowmobile trails closed Tuesday

Lincoln County-funded snowmobile trails closed for the season Tuesday, March 3, 2026. According to Recreation Forester Nick Behrens, the trails will not reopen even if additional snowfall occurs later in the month.
The county expressed appreciation for the volunteer work of local snowmobile clubs, whose efforts Behrens said are essential to maintaining and improving the trail system. Riders are encouraged to thank volunteers, consider joining a club, and patronize local businesses that sponsor and support the clubs.
