As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Nov. 25:
On 11/23/2024 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LISO) was contacted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office (ONSO) of a possible domestic disturbance that was reported to have happened in a vehicle in Lincoln County. LISO was advised that a Merrill man, 26, had battered his girlfriend, 26, of Rhinelander. It was reported that this incident had taken place somewhere on STH 17 south of Gleason. According to information provided by ONSO, the male party had left the scene in the vehicle and the female party, along with her child, 4, had left on foot but was later picked up by a relative.
