On Oct. 19, 2024, Lincoln County's Sesquicentennial celebration kicked off with events in Tomahawk in the morning and then followed with events in Merrill beginning at noon and lasting the afternoon.
Speeches kicked off both events, and then a history walk and breakfast highlighted the Tomahawk celebration.
Live music, food trucks, an old-fashioned carnival put on by St. John Lutheran Church and School, bouncy houses, and displays of vintage tractors and antique cars set the scene for fun at the Merrill celebration.
