Lincoln County has some beautiful deer

Posted

Bow deer hunting has been open since Sept. 14, 2024, some youth hunts and hunts for hunters with disabilities were held in October, and the gun deer hunting season will begin on Nov. 23 in Wisconsin. In Lincoln County, one photographer has been shooting lots of deer—with his camera—for the last few weeks and actually, all year long. His photos are proof that Lincoln County has some beautiful deer, and it is just a matter of being in the right time at the right place to get the perfect shot, whether with a camera, a bow, or a rifle.
Good luck to all the hunters out there, but remember, albino and/or all-white deer may not be harvested in Wisconsin. You can get a great shot at one with your camera like Peter Tesch did here, but not with a weapon.
