Herbert L. Pierce Sr., 89 of Merrill, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. Herbert was born February 6, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James and LaVerne (Eckhard) Pierce. He was united in marriage to Rose Toczynski and she preceded him in death April 9, 1990.
Surviving are his daughters, Terry Weisinger, Prentice; Barb Kittinger (Pam Larson), South Carolina; son, Herbert Pierce (Jamie Locklear), Merrill; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, LeRoy Pierce, Chicago, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose; daughter, Linda Pierce; sister, Laverne; brothers, Gene and Jim.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Larry Mathein officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at noon. Burial to follow at Prentice Cemetery.
