Food For Kids “Love Your Neighbor” Fundraising Banquet recognizes Business Neighbors of the Year

Food For Kids hosted their “Love Your Neighbor” Fundraising Banquet on Nov. 2, 2024, at Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes. “We had a wonderful turnout and raised over $19,000 for our program,” said Terra Holdridge, Food For Kids Treasurer. “We would like to thank everyone who attended the banquet and all of our sponsors for making this fundraiser a success.”
Food For Kids currently serves 240 students from seven schools in Merrill.
As a part of the “Love Your Neighbor” Fundraising Banquet, two businesses, an individual, and an area organization were recognized. Nicolet National Bank [Merrill branch] and Park City Credit Union were both honored as Merrill Business Neighbor of the Year. Karen Karow was honored as Neighbor of the Year.
“We sincerely thank them for their efforts to positively impact our community,” Holdridge said.
The Food For Kids Board of Directors also presented the Merrill Lions Club with the Partner Agency of the Year Award “for their hard work and dedication to the Food For Kids Program,” Holdridge said.
