LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Health Department (LCHD) is continuing to offer regular and high-dose flu vaccines, and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are now available.
The flu vaccines are available at LCHD’s Walk-In Wednesday clinics, held at LCHD, 607 N. Sales St., Merrill, each Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointments are needed.
Supplies of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are limited, according to LCHD. TO schedule an appointment, call LCHD at 715-536-0307 or email LCHealth@co.lincoln.wi.us.
“Please let us know if special accommodations are needed,” LCHD said.
Security Health Plan commercial insurance is now accepted by LCHD. Medicare Part B, Security Health Medicare Advantage and Railroad Retirement are also accepted. LCHD is unable to bill any other Medicare Advantage Plans, private insurance (Humana, United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.), or Medical Assistance.
“Please bring your insurance card,” LCHD stated. “If you don’t have these insurance plans, cash, checks or credit cards are accepted.”
