Posted

The Merrill Ice Reflections Figure Skating Club will present Skating Across the Galaxy, their annual show this weekend, on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Merrill Area Recreation Complex. Tickets are $10, and children 3 and under are free, and tickets are available at the door, in advance at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce, or online at merrillskate.org. “Everyone is welcome to join us and watch our skaters showcase their talents,” said Kelly Kraegenbrink, a member of the Merrill Ice Reflections Board.
The Merrill Ice Reflections Figure Skating Club has 86 members, two professional figure skating coaches—Montana Grabowsky and Brooklyn Kraegenbrink, and three junior coaches—Madison Altman-Wendt, Chloe Belant, and Leah Freyer. The club also has one intern coach, Korina Kraegenbrink.
Established in 1995 as a non-profit organization in association with U.S. Figure Skating, the club holds weekly lessons on Wednesday evenings for Basic Skills and on Sunday evenings for Advanced Skaters. Private coaching is also available to members.
