Faye I. Latzig, 88, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Born June 3, 1936, in rural Wausau, WI, the daughter of Arther and Margaret (Kufahl) Muschinske. Graduate of Wausau High School, Class of 1954. Faye married Rodney Latzig on June 8, 1957. He predeceased her on October 31, 2021. She worked as a beautician in Wausau and as a teacher in Rockford and Belvidere. Faye was a member of Saint John’s United Church of Christ, Belvidere and sang in the choir.
Survived by her children, Wendie Temple and Thomas Latzig; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Also predeceased by her parents; daughter, Deanne Mulligan; grandson, Brady Mulligan; and brother, Ronald Muschinske.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 401 N. Main St., Belvidere, IL 61008.
