Donald Fromfeld, 76 years old, born to Dennis and Mable Fromfeld. He attended a 1 room school house – Spring Brook for 3 years, then went to Prospect school for 1 year, then Pine River School was built. He attended Merrill Jr. High and graduated in 1968 from Merrill Sr. High. He joined the Army after that and was honorably discharged. He moved to Neenah for work and shared an apartment with his best friends Tom Kufahl and Jack Grawien. There he met the love of his life Beverly Krueger. They were married and moved to Wausau. They raised their 3 children there. He worked at Anderson & Johnson Co. for many years. After retirement he found joy in wood crafting beautiful gifts for his family and friends. When he no longer could get around he moved to the Benedictine Home, where he spent his final days.
He is survived by his wife; Beverly, daughter; Dixie (Berry) Pisitello, sons; Chad Fromfeld and Andrew (Shawna) Fromfeld, six grand kids; Daniel, Sabrina, Braydon, Taryn, Haily and Hannah, 3 great grand kids, Mother; Mable Fromfeld, Merrill, Sister; Darlene (Arnie) Mathis, Merrill, best friends: Jack Frederick and Kathy and Linda Weege; also many cousins and friends.
