In last week’s article about Julia L. White, 43, of Merrill, being charged with First Degree Reckless Injury and Battery - Bodily Harm, it was reported that the stabbing incident occurred on Saturday night, March 28, 2026. This information was taken from the Criminal Complaint on file which stated that “on or about” Saturday night the incident had occurred.
The Merrill Police Department has since confirmed that the 911 call came in just after 10 p.m. on Friday, March 27, and that the stabbing had occurred just prior.
As of Tuesday, April 7, White remains in custody in the Lincoln County Jail.
No update on the condition of the man who was stabbed has been released.
