Part of Merrill's Winterfest weekend Feb. 2-3, the Custom Design Cool Runnings Sled Dog Race drew mushers from a wide area to the race course in the backyard of Pine River School for YOung Learners. The snow came just in time to make the Cool Runnings event an official stop on the International Sled Dog Racing Association schedule this season.
