Area students named to Dean’s List at UW-River Falls

The spring semester Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning. It honors 1,461 students.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average. Students from our area named to the Dean’s List at UW-River Falls include:

UW Oshkosh Spring 2023 Dean’s List, Honor Roll released

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have released the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List and Honor Roll in spring 2023 across its three campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, and Oshkosh).
The term GPA (GPA) requirement for University Honor Roll is 3.3; the term GPA requirement for Dean’s List is 3.75 out of a possible 4.0.
To qualify, a student must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits. There can be no individual grades below a “C” and no incomplete or non-reported grades at the time the process is run.

Schult graduates from Wisconsin Lutheran College in May 2023

Simeon Schult of Merrill graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and received a Christian Leadership Certificate in May 2023 from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. Schult previously graduated from Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School.

Root earns Semester Honors at Edgewood College

Brian Root of Merrill has earned Semester Honors for the Spring 2023 semester at Edgewood College in Madison. Fulltime students who achieve a 3.5 GPA for the semester are eligible for this honor.

Dengel graduates from Marquette University

This past spring, Dustin Dengel of Merrill graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, earning a Doctorate in Dentistry.
The university celebrated its 142nd Commencement in May with a series of events, including graduate recognition ceremonies and a baccalaureate Mass on campus.

Turenne graduates from University of Iowa

In May 2023 Allie Turenne of Merrill graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master of Social Work.

Washburn University announces Huston is a spring 2023 President’s List honoree

Washburn University of Topeka, Kans., announced Rachel Huston of Merrill has been named to the President’s List honorees for the spring 2023 semester. To qualify for the President’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester GPA of 4.0.

Hinner named to MSOE Dean’s List for spring quarter 2023

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) announced Robert Hinner of Merrill, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, has been named to the spring quarter 2023 Dean’s List.

  Qualification for the Dean’s List is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have earned not less than a 3.5 semester GPA and carried a minimum of 12 credits.
