Learn more about the organization’s mission to protect children

Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is a national organization focused on protecting children. As a part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the T.B. Scott Free Library Adult Services Department is hosting a BACA Mission and Forum meeting in the Community Room at the Library (located at 106 W. First St. in Merrill) on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. This meeting is open to the public and anyone who wants to learn more about the BACA organization and the part they play in preventing and supporting children of child abuse both locally and nationally.

The forum panel will include representatives from BACA as well as HAVEN, Lincoln County Social Services, the Merrill Police Department, and other professionals who work to protect children. Look for the blue pinwheels on display at the Library in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Refreshments will be served. For more information, go to the online events calendar at www.tbscottlibrary.org, visit the Library’s social media accounts, or call 715.536.7191.
