The club currently has 16 families in its membership and the yearly dues are $40. The club is a very diverse group of farmers, and represents a wide range of management practices. Some members practice rotational grazing and market grass fed beef, while others finish their cattle with a corn rotation.
You can find several breeds being represented including Black Angus, Red Angus, Hereford and Simmental to name a few.
This year the club gave two scholarships to graduating seniors and future plans are to continue with at least one scholarship annually. Marissa Wallace and Jordan Grenwalt each received $250 scholarships. Marissa attends UW River Falls majoring in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary. Jordan attends Northcentral Technical College in the Machine Tool Technics program.
