Computer Coaching sessions will be held at T.B. Scott Free Library on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 10 at 6 p.m., and Thursday, April 11 at 1 p.m. Sessions last 90 minutes; come to all or part of a session. Reservations are appreciated but not necessary. Bring your own computer if you like.
Computer Coaching helps you learn, in a low-stress workshop setting, what you want to know about computers. Get help with Facebook, job searching, general Web browsing, email accounts, genealogy research, mouserobics, antivirus software, and more. All coachees are eligible for the monthly door prize, a USB drive, courtesy of Merrill Radio Shack and the Friends of T.B. Scott Library.
eBook Coaching sessions will also be offered on Thursday, April 4 and April 11 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
eBook Coaching is designed to help you get comfortable with using your iPad, Kindle, nook, or other eReader device, and help you use the library for free ebook content. No reservations are needed. Bring your own device. Come any time during the 90-minute session.
If you're interested in social media websites, plan to attend "Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn: Social Media for You" in the library's Community Room on Tuesday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday April 10 at 10 a.m. Kristen Zastrow, library assistant at Marathon County Public Library, will show you how these sites work and how you can enjoy them. Bring your own computer if you'd like to get some hands-on experience. Registration is not required.
