2 cars destroyed in fire Saturday

A 911 call at 9 p.m. reported a vehicle on fire in the 6000 block of School Avenue. When a deputy arrived on the scene he found two vehicles that were on fire and a third one that was threatened.

The owner of one of the vehicles later told a deputy one of the vehicles had been moved earlier in the day but no work was being done on it, firefighters were unable to determine a cause of the fire. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
