14th annual Merrill Community Night Out set for Aug. 18

The 14th annual Merrill Community Night Out will bring free food, activities, and community resources to residents Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Merrill Expo Center and Fair Grounds.
The event will feature displays and information from a range of local and state organizations, including the Merrill Police Department, Merrill Fire/EMS, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Merrill Park and Recreation Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Merrill Enrichment Center, Northcentral Technical College, Crime Stoppers of Lincoln County, and the T.B. Scott Free Library. Special presentations will be given by Merrill Fire and Merrill Police, with music provided by Bluejay 96.3 WJMT.
Free bus rides to and from the event will be available through the Merrill-Go-Round transit system, with pickups during the five o’clock hour and return drop-offs beginning at 6:45 p.m. Reservations must be made by 4 p.m. the day of the event by calling 715.536.7112.
The event will be held rain or shine.
