James H. Woller

James H. Woller, age 87, of Appleton, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was born on Dec 24, 1935, son of Eldor and Rose (Weiand) Woller. On May 10, 1958 he married Shelby J. Tiffany at St. Francis Church in Merrill, WI. Jim (Pedro, Peach) enjoyed watching and playing sports, hunting, fishing and playing cards with friends and family. He worked 38 years as a Journeyman Pipefitter at John Strange Paper/Menasha Corp/US Paper. He was able to fix about anything and enjoyed working on projects alone and with his children. He taught his children at a young age how to hold the flashlight on his work. He served in the US Army in Korea. Jim was always entertained by young children and returned the favor. He will be remembered as a great friend, father, husband and neighbor.

Jim is survived by his six children: Mike (Jean) Woller, Tom (Jody) Woller, Vicki Becker, Jim (Laurie) Woller, Matt Woller, and Doug (Carla) Woller; 17 grandchildren: Jessica (Joe) Van Roy, Bryan Wheaton, Sandra Woller, Nicole (Lee) Barton, Brittany Woller, Patrick Woller, Ashley Woller, Amber (Cody) Wollenziehn, Samantha Woller, Ryan Woller, Austin Holik, Derek Holik, Emma Poston, Maddy Poston, Shawna Swanson (Chris), Alex Stankiewicz, Korey Stankiewicz (Nicole); and three great grandchildren: Sawyer Barton, Reid Barton, and Evelyn Wollenziehn; sisters Jean Herdt and Millie Wagner, and sisters-in-law: Bonnie Smith, Darlene Bennett and Juanita Woods and brother-in-law Wally Grover. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Shelby, his parents Eldor and Rose Woller, his brothers Tom, Don, Ron and George Woller.

The family is planning a celebration of life on July 1, 2023 with a funeral service at 11:30 am at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton with full military honors. A reception will follow at 1pm at Highland Apartments Community Room with lunch provided. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) on his behalf. Valley Funeral Home in Appleton, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
