Audrey M. Bloechl

Audrey M. Bloechl, 85, of Gleason, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Woodland Court Elder Services, Merrill, WI. Audrey was born June 14, 1937, daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Hinz) Doering. Audrey married the love of her life, Frank ‘Sonny’ Bloechl on November 24, 1956. Audrey worked at Lincoln County Bank and had several seasonal jobs. She enjoyed working outside best of all. Audrey loved camping at Buffalo Lake with her family and taking long walks around the lake. Sonny and Audrey spent many hours fishing in the surrounding lakes. Audrey loved going to rummage sales every week in the summer. She enjoyed gardening and canned many vegetables every year. She was well known for her baking. She made the best bars and treats. Sonny and Audrey enjoyed traveling with family and friends. They visited almost all the states, including Alaska and Hawaii multiple times. Audrey also enjoyed going to family baseball games and snowmobiling with her family.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Frank ‘Sonny’ Bloechl; children, Sherri (Tim) Diels, Brian Bloechl, and Debra (Russ) Jablonski; six grandchildren, Leah (Justin) Bloechl-Gruna, Sarah Jablonski (Tim Stahnke), Jenna (Matt) Loveless, Jacob Jablonski (Emily Hurley), Keith Diels, and Kristina (Zach) Patterman; and several great-grandchildren. Also, siblings, Robert Doering, Marion Kohnhorst, Marvin Doering, Joyce Olson, and Patty Geiss, along with many nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, James Doering and Donald Doering.

Audrey’s family would like to thank the staff at Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services for their professional and personal care. They would also like to thank the staff at Woodland Court for making her feel at home and helping Audrey’s family during this difficult time. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Gleason Bowling Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
