Kelly Weiler

Kelly Weiler died 10-16-2022 at age 83 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill WI.  He was born April 15, 1939, to Anton and Lydia Weiler at Ashland, Wisconsin. He started working part time as a mechanic at age 16 at various shops in Wausau and graduated from Wausau High School.  He married Nancy J. Bettin on August 28, 1960.  She died on November 1994 at Irma, Wisconsin. After moving to Clintonville, Kelly worked for the FWD Corporation helping to build fire trucks and sometimes drove them to their new firehouses as far away as New York and California.  He and his wife owned and operated a go-cart racetrack and the Dock Bar on Cloverleaf Lake near Clintonville.  He also worked as a maintenance person at Simmons Furniture in New London, Wisconsin.  After moving to Irma, He and his brother, Dave, started Weiler Wood Products there.  After they closed that business, he worked at Wire Products in Merrill, Wisconsin.

Kelly is survived by his brother, Mark Wiler, his sister-in-law, Sally Bettin of Clintonville and many nieces and nephews.  Besides being predeceased by his wife, Nancy, he is predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law, David and Florence Weiler, his sister-in-law. Carol Weiler and his brother-in-law, Dan Bettin.

There will be no funeral service and burial will be at the Chat Cemetery at Irma, Wisconsin. Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting family at this time.  Online condolences may be expressed at MWCS.WS
