Improvements and repairs to portions of Wis. State Hwy. 107 in Lincoln County are planned for next summer, according to a Nov. 3, 2022, press release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Governor Evers signed a $1.1 million contract for the improvements, with Pheifer Brothers Construction being the prime contractor. The work will take place between Swede Rd. and Cty. Hwy. S in the Towns of Bradley, Merrill, and Rock Falls, and will include:
• Replacing the culvert pipes.
• Repaving the roadway at locations 0.6 miles north of Eggert Drove and 0.2 miles north of Rock Falls Dr.
• Repairing structure and improving the pavement at Joe Snow Creek.
• Replacing structure and pavement replacement at Skanawan Creek.
Work is scheduled to begin in June 2023 and be completed by Sept. 2023, weather permitting.
State transportation funds will pay for 100 percent of the improvements, the release said.
