Trinity Lutheran School sixth grader, Kendell Klug, has been selected Student of the Week, for the week of Sept. 30.
Daughter of Joshua and Megan Klug, Kendell was nominated by Mr. Jeff Holt who said, “Kendell not only does outstanding work, academically, she brings a smile and positive attitude to class each day. She looks for ways to encourage her classmates and goes out of her way to help a classmate who is struggling to understand a concept.”
“Kendell models Christ’s love as she interacts with both peers and teachers,” Mr. Holt added.
Kendell says that English is her favorite subject, for many reasons, but especially because she loves reading books. And the best part of school, in Kendell’s view, is hanging out with her classmates. She hopes to become an Air Force pilot or a firefighter paramedic one day.
