  • Uninsured? It’s not too late to get health insurance through the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace (FHIM). On Jan. 2, President Joe Biden signed an executive action, re-opening enrollment and setting a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) that will run from Feb. 15 to May 15, 2021. Coverage would start the first of the month after plan selection. Go to HealthCare.gov for more information.

  • On Feb. 11, the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) published a new Emergency Rule to continue waiving work searches for people who apply for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits.
  • On Feb. 12, the DWD unveiled an online progress tracker, so Wisconsinites can see when to expect benefits related to all of the Continued Assistance Act programs. The tracker also shows the steps that must be taken to implement each one.
