The Winterfest Dog Sled Races, originally scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 23 and 24 at Pine River School for Young Learners on Hwy. 64 west of Merrill, have been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 6, and Sunday, Feb. 7. We are hoping for snow so we can go ahead with this fun annual event. Check the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce website (www.merrillchamber.org) for updates.
