Merrill Area Community Rides (MACR) will host the 5th Annual Rosco’s Ride-Motorcycle/ATV Ride fundraiser on Saturday Sep. 12 at Overboard Bar, N4090 County Rd K, Merrill, from 11 a.m.-midnight. All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Schultz (Steve and Linda) and McGee (Chris and Trisha Spransy) families, to assist with various medical expenses incurred as a result of illness and injury. Festivities during the event include scenic motorcycle and ATV rides through northern Lincoln and Langlade counties, poker and dice runs, prizes and live music from 6 p.m.-midnight.
No motorcycle or ATV? no problem! All vehicles are welcome to join the rides.
Those wishing to participate in the motorcycle ride are asked to meet at Overboard Bar by 10:45 a.m as the ride will depart at 11 a.m. sharp. Those wishing to participate in the ATV/UTV ride are asked to meet at Gleason Bowling Center (N4878 State Rd 17, Gleason) by 10:45 a.m as that ride will also depart at 11 a.m. sharp. Each ride will consist of 6 stops.
Riders will meet back at Overboard Bar by 6 p.m. with prizes to be awarded beginning at 7 p.m. Live music opens with “Juan” at 6 p.m followed by headliner The Northwoods Skitchers, beginning at 8 p.m.
