At approximately 4:08 am, an officer responded to an illegal garbage dumping complaint where a property owner found four bags of trash dumped on their property. As a result of the investigation one party was cited for the violation.
At approximately 8:31 pm, officers were dispatched to a report of a male party walking down the street with a rifle and had fired the rifle. Officers located the male party and it was determined that the rifle was a CO2 BB rifle. The male party denied firing the rifle in the City of Merrill. The male party was educated on the ordinance on air rifles and released.

At 8:33 am, an officer responded to a historical gas skip complaint. The caller advised a female had not paid for fuel two days prior to the call. The investigation is ongoing.
At 6:19 pm, an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller had a homemade sign stolen from their property and a witness observed a neighbor steal the sign. Contact was made with the female suspect who admitted to stealing the sign. She was cited for theft

At approximately 0117 hours, Officers were dispatched to a domestic incident where it was reported that a female party had attacked a male party. Officers determined that both the male and female parties had assaulted each other and both were taken in to custody.

At approximately 0255 hours, Officers responded to a report of a domestic incident where it was reported that a female party had struck a male party multiple times. The female was arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery and was transported to jail.
