Merrill Police Department reports

June 21
At approximately 11 a.m. Officers spotted a male walking who had a warrant out for his arrest in the 300 block of East 1st Street. Upon attempting to make contact with that individual, officers had lost visual of the suspect but he was found in an alleyway and was taken into custody for the warrant. The male was taken to the Lincoln County Jail.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of West Main Street for a report of a male party who had defecated in public. Officers located the suspect who had also been involved with two previous incidents throughout the day. The male was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

June 22
At approximately 7:17 p.m. officers responded to the 1400 block of East 8th Street for a complaint of a male who was making threats toward others within a residence. Officers made contact with the male suspect who was eventually taken into custody for disorderly conduct and bail jumping. The male was then transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

June 23
At approximately 9:05 p.m. officers assisted with the rescue of 3 kittens and a baby rabbit that were found in a storm drain at the corner of 5th and Douglas Street.
