Two perfect scores boosted the Jays to a 121-97 victory over Medford last week.
Zachary Iribarren and Cameron Stadler each posted a perfect 25 score in last weeks trap shoot out with Medford. Iribarren outshot his opponent 25-21 while Stadler beat his 25-20.
Wyatt Koehler had a solid day for the Jays, shooting a score of 24 to his opponents 20. Brandon Stolz would win his match 24-18 and Jesse Pierschalla won 23-18.
Other noteable shooter for the Jays include: Braeden Bierman- 21, Erik Hanneman- 20, Chloe Moore- 19, Kaitlyn Eiden- 15, Trvor Wisinski- 13 and Lydia Kildahl- 10.
The Merrill trap shooting team currently sits at the top of the Great Northern Conference with a perfect record of 4-0. The Jays are led by Zach Iribarren and Cameron Stadler, who both have a total of 97 points so far this season.
Merrill will be back in action on Monday, May 6, as they take on Wausau Skeet & Trap.
