Do-it-yourself valentines workshop at T.B Scott Library

T.B Scott Library will be offering “DIY: Paper Flowers for Valentine’s Day” on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. in the community room. This timely event offers the opportunity to recycle books you have already read and create your own floral bouquet for those special people in your life. These flowers will take on the shape of roses that are created with recycled pages from books. Enjoy a great evening, while creating a beautiful bouquet of book paper flowers to share on Valentine’s Day, or any other special day. Local artist Rachel Waldburger will share her talent of paper flower making. She will have items on display of her own creation, to evoke your sense of creativity for your own creations. Attendees will have time to design and form their own floral masterpieces. The library will have book pages on hand for participants to choose from, or if participants have a book of their own they want to use, they are welcome to bring it along. Registration is not required but appreciated. Please call the library (715-536-7191) to reserve your spot for this fun activity. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
